The Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) is a team challenge that focuses on immersion in the Word of God.
The PBE is the official North American Division Pathfinder Bible study program. Each year, teams of six club members study and test on a book(s) of the Bible in the New King James Version, Pathfinder Edition.
This year's (2018/2019) book to study is Luke, along with the SDA Bible Commentary Introduction Sections.
All Florida Conference Area Level PBE Run-Offs are scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Arrival time and Uniform Inspection will begin at 3:00 pm. The program will start at 4:00 pm.
Please make arrangments to be on time.
The venue for each Area is listed below:
South Areas |
North & West Area |
Central Area |
To register your club's PBE team for one of the Area Pathfinder Bible Experience Run-Offs, please choose the appropriate colored tab below. Each team member must be an inducted Pathfinder of your club.
We score PBE on a curve, so every team can end in first place, based on 90% of the top scoring teams. All first place teams will automatically advance to the next level (conference level).
In Florida, at the area level only, we have what we call a "wild card" incentive. With this incentive, some second place teams may qualify to advance to the conference level. To learn more about this, please contact Myrlin or check the PBE FL. Booklet.

Statement of Integrity (Please bring one signed copy - per Pathfinder Club)Requirements for Florida Conference PBE Run-Offs
- All teams are to be on time. The event leaders will not wait for anyone arriving late.
- A uniform inspection will be conducted before the run-off. Teams are to be in Class A uniform.
- Each team will consist of up to six, inducted Pathfinder members of their club. An alternate is also allowed per team. An alternate can either fill in for a regular team member who is unable to attend, or switch out with a regular team member at intermission. A switch is only allowed once per team, per event.
- Clubs can have more than one PBE team. In Florida, we require that the first team be made up of six members, and each additional team can consist of as little as two, but not more than six members. Each team can have one alternate.
- Each club is to send Myrlin Brooks the name of one coach per team and their contact information as soon as possible. These coaches will be scorers, and it is preferred that they are in Pathfinder uniform.
- In addition, each club is asked to bring at least one Adventurer (in uniform) per team to the event, to participate as a runner.
- Each team is to bring a signed copy of the 'Statement of Integrity,' along with signed copies of the 'Media Release Form' - one for each participant, to their area run-off event.
