MPI - Chiropractic Management of Pregnant and Pediatric Patients 

San Jose, CA

The purpose of this program is to provide clinical insight into chiropractic management of pregnant and pediatric patients. The program will provide introductory knowledge of the evaluation & management of common complaints & conditions of these special populations in addition to contraindications to care. Management options in the form of adjustive procedures, nutritional recommendations and rehabilitation exercises will be discussed and demonstrated.

By the end of the program, the attendee will be able to:

  • understand common complaints & conditions of pregnant and pediatric patients 
  • identify red flags, contraindications for treatment and reasons for referring pregnant and pediatric patients
  • address common pediatric ailments with conservative integrative care
  • incorporate modifications to adjustments and rehabilitation exercises to accommodate pregnant, post-partum and pediatric patients
  • understand the basic nutritional recommendations for pregnant and pediatric patients
  • appreciate the role chiropractors can play in the collaborative management of pregnant, post-partum and pediatric patients

Equipment Required
Please bring a portable table and a speeder (toggle) board to the program (if available) 
Please bring a doll with you to the program (it is recommended that it is not much smaller than 18-19”) 

*Continuing Education (CE) credit
CE credit is typically applied for in the state/province of the program & other select states/provinces upon requesrt. Please inquire at (630) 889-6622 or if this program is approved for CE credit in your state or province. Always register a minimum of 2 weeks before your state's or province's CE application deadline (if it is not the state/province of the program) and email of your request.
