AML/BSA annual training with Certificate of Completion.

Instructor: Dan Pass is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) with over 15 years in the mortgage banking industry and has worked in many areas of operations, risk management and compliance.  As the BSA Officer at HarborOne Mortgage, Dan is responsible for assessment and oversight of corporate and regulatory compliance pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud programs and internal controls.  His experience includes AML/BSA oversight enterprise wide, including individual loan transactions, third-party mortgage brokers, closing agents and vendors to ensure the company is protected from fraudulent transactions.

Dan earned his CAMS designation from ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) which is awarded to professionals who successfully complete a rigorous examination demonstrating aptitude and expertise in money laundering detection and enforcement. The examination covers money laundering and terrorist financing methods, best practices to stop these and other financial crimes, as well as key related legislation in place worldwide.

At a minimum, a BSA/AML program must provide training for all personnel whose duties require knowledge of the BSA. This training will provide a comprehensive overview of the Bank Secrecy Act and related policies, procedures and processes needed for regulatory compliance.  We will also discuss an introduction to suspicious activity reporting requirements, how to register with FinCEN and complete a SAR.
