Environmental Abatement Council of Ontario
Breakfast Seminar
Prepare for WHMIS 2015’s December 1st Deadline.
The EACO Training Committee has decided that a session on how to prepare for the final transition from WHMIS 1988 to WHMIS 2015 would be beneficial to EACO members.
WHMIS 2015 has aligned itself with the Global Harmonized System (GHS). Most countries have already aligned their hazardous communication system with the GHS. Our deadline to eliminate WHMIS 1988 labels, and to update MSDS to SDS, is Dec 1, 2018.
This presentation will review the old WHMIS 1988 system compared to the new WHMIS 2015 system and help you determine how you will be able to make this final transition.
