If you are unaware of the changes made in the 2017 editions of the ANSI A300 (Part 1) pruning standard and the ANSI Z133.1 safety standard, then there is a lot you need to know.  These standards have been substantially revised, which will affect the way you operate your business.  Pruning types have become pruning systems.  Shoulds have become shalls.  New pruning and safety requirements have been added.  Some have been deleted.  This workshop will help you navigate the new changes so you can better protect trees and those who love them.

Some of the items included in this workshop include:

  • Pruning systems
  • Pruning process flowchart
  • Pruning practices
  • Pruning proposals
  • Treeworker accidents
  • Standards of performance and safety training
  • Electrical hazards rule changes
  • Safe equipment operation
  • Puns, funny videos, and bad jokes

The ANSI A-Z Workshop will be jam-packed with useful and up-to-date information.  The first three hours of the workshop will be dedicated to the ANSI A300 (Part 1).  The remaining five hours will highlight changes and important information in the Z133.1 standard.  You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with your colleagues from various arboricultural disciplines.

Lunch and snacks are included
