Preparing for the CV/Resume/LinkedIn Review Session

The CV/Resume/LinkedIn Review Session is a special feature offered at the Nature Jobs Career Expo – Texas event. This session will run continuously throughout the day, from 9am to 4pm. Click here to see list of CV/Resume Reviewers.

The CV/Resume/ LinkedIn Review Session is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure that you are able to secure an appointment with a reviewer, please plan to arrive early.

Additional details regarding how to sign up and prepare for this session are described below:

1.      Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a 20-minute appointment at the Check-In/Registration desk once they arrive at the event.

2.      IMPORTANT: Due to high demand, each attendee will be limited to 1 appointment slot until all spots are filled. Please make your selection at the time of registration.

3.      A wait list will be created once all slots are filled. In the event of cancellations, attendees on the wait list will be contacted for available appointments.

4.      WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE EVENT: Bring a laptop or paper copies of your updated CV/Resume for discussion with reviewer. If you wish to have your LinkedIn page reviewed, please bring your personal computer.

5.      WHAT TO EXPECT:

a.      Upon checking in, you will be given the opportunity to sign-up for a 20-minute session with an expert who will review your CV, Resume, or LinkedIN page. Reviewers are professionals in a wide range of fields, including Biotech/ Pharma Industry, Academia, Entrepreneurship, and Consulting. b.      IMPORTANT: You will be asked to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and to check in with the session organizers. (Note that appointments that are not claimed within the first 5 minutes of the start time will be cancelled, and the slot will be offered to attendees on the wait list).

c.       You will be directed to a room where your meeting will be held

d.      You will meet individually with a reviewer for 20 minutes

e.      A conference team member or volunteer will notify you and your reviewer when the session is over
