Two jurists — both former labor and employment practitioners — will share their insights into how this area of the law looks from the perspective of the bench. They will also speak about what advocates should be aware of when presenting cases to judges who are familiar with labor and employment law as well as those who do not have previous practice experience in the field.

The wave of accusations of inappropriate conduct against co-workers or supervisors raises issues in regard to how to assess client stories, how to conduct proper investigations, how to protect people from formal or informal retaliation, and how to balance the rights and obligations when the accuser and alleged harasser are both members of the union.
