Join Us for a Nonprofit Seminar
Saturday, December 8, with Andy Robinson

Whether you serve on the board of a nonprofit or you work for one, we hope you'll join Adirondack Foundation for a day of professional development on Saturday, December 8, at Tupper Arts in Tupper Lake. Trainer Andy Robinson will lead the day. Here's a preview of what to expect (you can find a full agenda here)...

Money for Nonprofits: How to Raise It, How to Manage It
80% of charitable funds come from individual donors, not foundations or corporations. During this one-day training, you'll learn to build a fundraising program that honors your mission, engages potential donors, and raises more money - and how to manage all that money effectively. Sessions will focus on ways to engage board members in both fundraising and financial oversight. Among topics that will be covered:

  • Redefining fundraising: It’s not just asking for money
  • Where money comes from: Building a diverse funding base
  • Identifying prospective donors
  • Five things you should know about your nonprofit’s finances - without looking at a spreadsheet
  • Creating a one-page financial dashboard to simplify board oversight
  • Managing financial risks

How to Register
The registration fee for this seminar is $40, which includes training, materials and lunch. You can register at the link below.
