Arindam Chakraborty, PhD, PE (CA, TX):
Dr. Chakraborty has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa and has ten years of experience in solid mechanics and design, non-linear FEA, fatigue and fracture mechanics, reliability analysis, composite structures in Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Structural Design. His areas of expertise are Solid Mechanics & Design, ASME Code (Sections II, III, VIII) Based Strength and Fatigue Analysis, Fitness-for-Service (FFS) Assessment (API 579), System Reliability, Component Reliability and Optimization, Probabilistic Analysis. Devvrat Singh Rathore:
Devvrat (Dev) Singh Rathore has received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He has 4 years of professional experience in the design and analysis of subsea systems and offshore lifting, including conceptual design, detailed design, testing and FEA validation in compliance with various industry design codes. He is experienced in using software packages such as NX, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus and MATLAB, to deliver solutions. He is currently working on various structural analysis and marine projects. Analysis automation, DOE studies and parametric design can be developed using Abaqus and Isight subroutines. Detailed fatigue analysis and non-parametric optimization can be performed with fe-safe and Tosca, respectively. These solutions are part of the SIMULIA portfolio.
