PNCR training events are available at no cost to parents, family members, caregivers, and community members whose children and loved ones have disabilities. We also welcome in attendance, professionals working with children and families, however please remember, PNCR trainings are NOT designed or intended for use as professional development hours. The design, content, and delivery of our trainings is focused on informing and meeting the needs of parents and family members as they partner with their child's educational team and school district to ensure an appropriate education for their child. If you are a professional and are not sure if this training will meet your needs please contact the PNCR office at 518-640-3333 or email info@pncrny.org.


 

The impact of bullying can be devastating, particularly for students w/disabilities. This training will provide an overview special considerations for students w/disabilities including strategies used by schools to prevent bullying, federal/state laws addressing bullying and what parents can do if they are concerned their child is/has been bullied.

Occasionally, winter weather creates hazardous driving conditions making it necessary to cancel PNCR training events. When this occurs, every effort will be made to notify registrants of the cancellation a minimum of 2 hours prior to the training start time. Registrants will be notified using the phone number and/or email address provided during event registration. Please remember to check your voice mail and/or email messages 2 hours prior to an event's starting time.
