Calling all Corvallis area clean water warriors!

WHAT: Trashy Thursday- Corvallis
WHEN: Thursday, 11/29 from 8:00am - 1:00pm

DETAILS: Join us along with our parnters at Corvallis Parks & Recreation, Marys River Watershed Council and be part of our brand new team of Corvallis River Guardians as we float the Willamette from Crystal Lake Boat Ramp to Michael's Landing, focusing our efforts on the Marys River Confluence area, cleaning the riverbanks from trash and debris. Limited seating in rafts, or Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB)! 

IF YOU ARE BYOB; PLEASE ARRIVE AT CRYSTAL LAKE BOAT RAMP NO LATER THAN 8:00am to unload your boat/gear and shuttle to Michael's Landing.

IF YOU HAVE RESERVED A SEAT IN A BOAT; MEET AT MICHAEL'S LANDING AT 8:30am to organize a carpool shuttle to the launch at Willamette Boat Ramp so your car is available at the take out.

Please dress for the weather - bring snacks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate layers, including a hat, neck gaitor and gloves for cold temperatures. This is a rain or shine event! We will have extra dry bags available to carry your items safely. Wear closed-toe hard soled shoes and bring water to stay hydrated. PFDs provided for those without - PFDs are required for all participants. Trash bags, pickers, gloves, tarps and tools for trash removal will be supplied. 

BYOB'rs should be comfortable paddling in current. Please use PFDs appropriate for use on the river - no inflatable PFDs.
