  NEW! Cole Camp 1861 Quilt

This quilt was dsigned by Maralie Boushie of Viburnum, MO- commemorating the battle of Cole Camp early in the Civil War. Generally Civil War era quilts use blues, greys, gold and rusty reds that are associated with that period of history. However, you may choose any color you enjoy using in your quilt. Measurements are 64 inches square but can be made larger by adding additional borders of quilt blocks that are associated with that historical time. The class will include tidbits of local history as well as quilting techniques. The first informational class, lasting only an hour and a half, will be to go over the supply list and fabrics required to complete the project, only bring pencil and note pad. Three more sessions of three hours will continue using your sewing machine and hands on quilt skills.  Do not purchase your fabric or supplies until after the first class.  The remaining three will be hands on quilt construction classes.  Rebecca Schnakenberg, instructor   $69
