Chapter Meeting - November 2018 

The Chapter 179 Leadership Team is pleased to present Gilbert De La Portilla and Kristi Hosea with the Central Texas Crime Prevention Association.

The Chapter 179 leadership team invites you to join us in welcoming the Texas Crime Prevention Association.  This month, we welcome two guest speakers - Gilbert De La Portilla and Kristi Hosea.  Gilbert is a retired San Antonio Police Officer and currently serves as Crime Prevention Specialist at WOAI-TV.  He 32 years with the San Antonio Police Dept. 20 years as a S.W.A.T. Officer and 20 years as a Certified Crime Prevention Specialist. He is also a Certified Rape Aggression Instructor with Stryke Force since 2005.  Kristi is currently a Master Police Officer with the Texas A&M University Police Department and the President of the Central Texas Crime Prevention Association.  In addition to being recognized as 2015 Texas Alive Team's Instructor of the Year, Kristi also is also the National Night Out State Coordinator for TCPA. They will share the goals of their organization as well as discuss their reach within the community and how we can help as individuals and as a chapter organization encourage involvement in helping crime prevention.  We hope you can join us!

ASIS National Members and Guests:  Using the Register Now link below you may Pre-Register until midnight on Wednesday, July 18th so we can better prepare the seating and our menu choices. For this month's meeting we will be ordering off of our house menu at Maggiano's.  

Prepaid Members: Members who have prepaid meals for the entire year are automatically registered for every Monthly Chapter Meeting.  If you are unable to attend one of the monthly meetings - you can pass along your prepaid spot to a potential guest or colleague as long as they have paid their annual ASIS dues.
