Chanie has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Development Family Science with a minor in prek-3 education from The Ohio State University. Chanie has worked in public service with youth and families for eleven years. Her previous experience varies from Directions for Youth and Families as an Outreach Worker in Central Ohio, Action for Children as a Wellness Coordinator with families, and the Columbus Metropolitan Library as an Information Services Specialist and a Homework Help Center Specialist. Chanie currently has the role of the AVP of Community Outreach and Volunteer Recruitment at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. Chanie believes that being a mentor is essential to the mobility and growth of the future.
