25 minutes away from home in the middle of picturesque, downtown Safety Harbor at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa!  Invite friends and get ready to have a blast, relax and be encouraged in your walk with Jesus!

 Our guest speaker this year is Shelley Sadler.

 "Hey pals! Shelley Sadler here...sure excited to be   with y'all!  I am from Denver, Colorado, and I have   lived here for nearly 50 years.  I am the youngest of
 5 children, and though I am not married, nor do I   have any children of my own, I have 8 nieces and   nephews (4 nieces, 4 nephews), two nephew-in-   laws,  three great nieces, and one great nephew -   and they are all truly precious to me!

 I am in my 30th year on Young Life Staff, and have had the privilege to serve in a number of different roles, including Associate Area Director, Co-Area Director, Area Director, Divisional Women's Leadership Council, Young Life and WyldLife (i.e., middle school) Team Leader, Special Assistant to the President, and currently as, Senior Mission Specialist.  Naturally, my 30 year journey in Young Life has screamed of God's faithfulness in both the joys in my life and minisrty, as well as a handful of 'bumps in the road'.  I love being a part of our Lord bringing people to Himself...what a gift.  The loves of my life include family, music, and running/walking, and time with my new pup!"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are excited to have Jenna Johnson Smith (Kathy Conner's talented niece!) as our Worship Leader for the Women's Retreat this year! 

" I live in Tallahassee, FL where I work in marketing as an insurance representative.  I met my insanely good-looking husband while we were both at FSU (Go Noles!) and tied the knot in November of 2017.  We now have the incredible opportunity to lead worship and serve together at City Church.  Leading worship has continued to teach me about the importance of making worship holistic; it should touch every area of our lives. It is not just in the songs we sing, it is within our every interaction, public and private.  None of us are needed, but God chooses to use us anyway.  That should bring us to a place of genuine worship.  John 7:38 says, Whoever believes in me, as the Scriptires has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'  This is where I desire to be as a worship leader."
