Each year, Vermont CARES organizes dozens of volunteers to wrap gifts for donations at the Burlington Town Center, raising money for our HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs and having a blast at the same time!
This year, we'll be at the former "Fro Yo" shop, the bright pink and green shop right after Five Guys Burgers, in the downtown Burlington mall, and will start on Friday, December 14th. Shifts are generally 3 hours, and can accommodate up to 3- to 4 volunteers per shift.
Gift wrapping skills are helpful, but not mandatory: we're also looking for people to help collect donations in exchange for wrapping and sell raffle tickets. If you are social and organized that is a plus. We will need people to serve as greeters and help us manage all the multi-tasking this project entails.
We hope you'll join the fun: it's a great way to volunteer in a specific way with family, coworkers, and friends! Email theresa@vtcares.org with any questions.
