Enhancing the Incorporation of Patient Perspectives in Clinical Trials 

Registration for in-person attendance at the CTTI and the FDA's Public Workshop on Patient Engagement in Clinical Trials on March 18 is now closed. If time and space permit, onsite registration on the day of the public workshop will be provided beginning at 8:00 a.m.; however, we cannot guarantee that space will be available. You may still register to watch the workshop via live webcast. 

The purpose of the public workshop is to obtain patients, caregivers, industry representatives, academic researchers, and others' expert perspectives on:

  • Challenges and barriers to patients participating in clinical trials, and
  • Best practices and key considerations for enhancing the incorporation of patient perspectives on clinical trial access, design, conduct, and post-trial follow-up.

Notes for Attendees

In-person Attendees

  • Registration is free and based on space availability, with priority given to early registrants. The deadline to register is March 11, 2019.
  • Due to limited seating, everyone expressing interest in attending may not be able to participate in person. We will establish a waitlist and notify participants if cancellations occur. 
  • Attendees requesting in-person participation will still be able to attend the webcast if not confirmed to attend in-person.
  • Please do not request in-person participation unless you are certain you can commit to traveling to Silver Spring to attend the workshop. If you need to change your registration commitment, please email Cassandra Royal at cassandra.royal@duke.edu.
