Foundations of Coaching
This is part 1 of a 3 part Coaching Series aligned to the book, The Art of Coaching by Elena Aguilar. The book study will be hosted in Google classroom during the fall. Credit is available for an additional fee from Kent State for attending all 3 sessions and participating in the book study. In this session, particpants will explore the foundations of coaching (what is coaching and what it is not) and how they can transform schools. We will define our coaching goals and create an action plan to obtain our goal(s). Chapters Intro-4, Match mini videos, Discovering who we are as coaches-beliefs and core values. Thrively Self Assessment. Goal setting- Set a goal to track during this class (methods and strategies used for teacher transformation).
