Our own Kellyn Bowden is heading up the Angel Tree Program through the Salvation Army, on behalf of MBAG-Athens. First American is the main Host of this program and we would love to make a huge impact in the community through this program. This is a great program to help families in our community who are less fortunate and are not able to provide a Christmas that is deserved by their children. For more insight into the program, check out this flyer. 

The Salvation Army helps over a thousand children in our immediate area through their Christmas Angel program, with help from people just like you. By adopting an Angel you will ensure that a child will have something under the tree this year at Christmas.  

"We are asking for donations of funds through MBAG. Chrissy Pulliam & I will be taking those funds and adopting a certain amount of Angels to shop for. We will take pictures of who the Angel child is, and what those funds purchased for each child, and will share those at a future meeting. Thank you for your help in getting this information passed along. I truly hope this will be more than just making a donation. We are truly bringing smiles to children's faces that don't have the luxury of knowing if they will have presents under a tree. No child should go without on Christmas. Have a wonderful day!"
