Yangti Nagpo Vajra Group (1st Year) ~ September 13 - 20, 2019 with Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche

We are very happy to announce that Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche has generously decided to open up the Yangti cycle of teachings to a new group of students again this fall.

The teachings of Yangti Nagpo ("Black Quintessence") are a cycle of teachings belonging to the "Yangti" class of Ati Yoga teachings of the Nyingma Tradition. A lineage holder of the Yangti Nagpo Cycle, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche has taken upon himself the responsibility of upholding, preserving, and disseminating these unique practices both in Asia and the United States.

Although sometimes mistakenly considered to be solely focused on dark retreat, Yangti Nagpo is in fact an extensive cycle of spiritual trainings spanning the breadth of Tibetan Vajrayana practice. All participants, regardless of previous experience, begin the cycle of teachings at the preliminary level and progress through the practices.

*Anyone interested in joining this retreat must have permission to attend from Rinpoche prior to registering. Please email Khenpo Namchak Dorji at tulkusangngag@gmail.com to request permission.  Be sure to include your practice history; teachers with whom you have studied, which ngondro you completed/are currently engaging in, or if you are a new student to Buddhism, etc.

Cost: Sliding scale fee structure.  Residential $700 - 900, Campers $550-750.  Please make a payment in accord with your means.

Registration:  All students must have permissionto attend from Rinpoche prior to registration. Please register online in advance and make payment through PayPal at the time of registration.  You may also send a check to Ewam Montana.  Payment upon arrival will not be honored unless you make arrangements with our admin staff in advance (by September 1st) to set up a time.  There will not be a registration table at the door.

The teachings begin at 7pm on Friday, September 13th.  The teachings end with tsog on the 20th.

Transportation: We regret we will no longer be able to offer airport pick-up or drop-off as in the past. Instead, please add your information here to the Yangti Nagpo Vajra Group google doc and connect with other students who are looking to share a ride.

Resident and Camper pricing includes three meals per day.  Restrictive and special diets can not be entirely accommodated but feel free to contact us with your concerns and we will try to work with you as best we can.

Register early to help us with planning and accommodations. Contact yangtinagpo@gmail.com with any questions.

See you in the fall and practice well!
