Key Areas of Form 990 & How to Use for Marketing

A free SCORE Small Business Workshop co-sponsored by Greenwich Library

The Form 990 is an important tool for nonprofits. Since every organization’s Form 990 is available to the public, it is important to make sure your organization is presenting its information in a positive light to potential donors, volunteers, and with the IRS.

This session will cover:

  • Walking through the Form 990 in detail to understand how each area of the 990 should be used by your organization
  • Ways to update your 990 to attract new donors, volunteers, and board members
  • Most common errors on the Form 990
  • How to avoid “Red Flags” from the IRS
