Mr. Pennington has over 10 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in providing financial statement and tax services to privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his B.S. in Accountancy from San Diego State University.

The Form 990 is an important tool for nonprofits. Since every organization’s Form 990 is available to the public, it is important to make sure your organization is presenting its information in a positive light to potential donors, volunteers, and with the IRS.

- Walking through the Form 990 in detail to understand how each area of the 990 should be used by your organization
- Ways to update your 990 to attract new donors, volunteers, and board members
- Most common errors on the Form 990
- How to avoid “Red Flags” from the IRS
