We will host a conversation among people who identify as members of a religion and/or a specific culture, to explore our similarities and how our differences have come to define us. We seek to appreciate the richness of our diversity, and what still binds us together, with an emphasis on our common humanity.
This conversation session to help us bridge our differences was born last spring when Nevan and Ahmad Hamid generously invited 20 FitC members for a delicious lunch at their own home, titled "Lunch and Conversation in a Muslim Family Home." What a feast and what a rich conversation. Now we have the opportunity to continue the conversation among us with the help of Nevan. (This program is open to all FitC members regardless of your attendance at the previous session.)
Organized by Miriam Jacobson, Beverly Hayden and Yoko Barnes with Nevan Hamid.
