Encore Entrepreneurs: Starting a Business After 50

Join us for a workshop especially tailored for over-50 entrepreneurs considering starting a business for the first time. This workshop will cover the basics of starting a business, the rewards and pitfalls of becoming an “encore entrepreneur", critical success factors for a new business, and resources available to help along the way. Bring your business idea and questions for a stimulating discussion. All welcome, but the workshop will especially emphasize issues and advantages common among age 50-plus entrepreneurs.

This workshop is sponsored by SCORE Boston and is presented by Richard Rosenblatt. Richard has been a Boston SCORE Counsellor for five years. He worked for the Polaroid Corporation for thirty years and spent most of those years in supply chain management while working on change management and teaching negotiating to his peers. He started his own consulting company at age 65. He also worked on fund raising for the United Way before retiring for good and joining SCORE.
