Mike Fedotowsky has over twenty five years of consulting experience in helping companies improve quality and productivity through Leadership Coaching, Lean Six Sigma and Innovation.  Mike is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Industry Certified Lean Champion. 

Mike is currently working with and has worked with Procter & Gamble, AFRL, Goodwill Industries, The World Bank, Care Source and many other  organizations on Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.

The 5 Disciplines of Problem Solving for Team Members: LEAN Six Sigma Yellow Belt

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt: This one-day course is designed for all employees who want to learn the 5 step Lean Six Sigma Problem Solving Process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Participants will gain the basic knowledge and skills to be an effective team member on a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) problem solving team.

Who should attend: This one day workshop was designed for all employees who want to learn basic problem solving. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to be an effective team member on a Lean Six Sigma problem solving team.

Learning Objectives:

You will learn how to use the five step Lean Six Sigma Problem Solving process called DMAIC in conjunction with the most important Lean Six Sigma tools.

Define Step: You will learn how to define a problem and create a project charter.

Measure Step: You will learn how to create a baseline metric and how to focus your problem solving efforts using Pareto analysis.

Analyze Step: You will learn root cause analysis by constructing a cause and effect diagram.

Improve Step: You will learn how to brainstorm and prioritize your short and long term solutions by using a prioritization matrix

Control Step: You will learn how to maintain the gains from your implemented improvements.

With this knowledge, they will be equipped and ready to help solve the most critical problems within the organization. 


Class is a prerequisite for LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Training.
