Cattle Driving & Obstacles Clinic

A weekend designed for all breeds and disciplines to improve communication, body control and to increase confidence.

Join us for another fun weekend of inspiration & education for the trail horse. Gain confidence & knowledge in areas of working cattle including introducing your horse to cattle and other obstacles.  Learn to navigate cattle with control through and around obstacles. A great way to have yourself and your horse prepared for your trail riding adventures!

Take a look at this amazing location!

Miran Farm Facility-

Miran Farm is located near Aldie, Virginia, and has roughly 100 acres of beautiful rolling hills, streams, and facilities.
The most popular feature is the largest privately owned indoor arena on the east coast.  There is also a large outdoor arena and round pen available to boarders.
With large 12x12 stalls attached to the indoor arena, and 10x10 stalls available in the "long barn," the facility caters to the needs of many disciplines of riders.
Although Miran Farm is predominantly well known as a team roping facility and is one of the premiere roping facilities on the East Coast, the farm does cater to the English rider as well, with a Hunter/Equitation Program, as well as a Natural Horsemanship Program.

What to expect-

To get this most from your experience we suggest that for this event you should bring a horse that has some riding experience

For all levels of riders & breeds of horses.

During this clinic riders will learn how to build confidence by understanding correct ways of setting your horse up and positioning them correctly to maintain control of their horses body in order to properly work a cow.

Refinement, body control, use of reins and legs will all be covered during the weekend.  You will have a chance to put these skills to use on live cattle on Saturday & Sunday.

This clinic is way more than just chasing cows so come prepared for a learning experience that will help you to progress with your trail horse.  The trail horse may encounter all types of animals and obstacles on the trail. We will help you prepare yourself and your horse for each new adventure.

Saturday 10 am-4 pm & Sunday 10 am -2 pm

Have fun with a group of like minded mature riders while developing your horsemanship skills and building a relationship with your horse.
