Alcohol & Drug Abuse Division Training: Critical Thinking Skills for the Helping Professional
Content: Critical Thinking Skills training focuses on developing the necessary tools and skills to analyze problems, make decisions and formulate well-supported points of view on personal and professional issues.
Facilitator: Jessica Torralva, LMHC, NCC. Jessica has extensive experience in the Human Services Field working as a Supervisor for an evidenced-based treatment program. Jessica is the Area Chair for the Social Sciences program at a private college. Jessica is also currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Target Audience: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), Certified Prevention Specialists (CPS), and applicants; those with other ADAD professional credentials; and anyone involved in the human services field.
Please Note:
- Parking is only available on the street surrounding the ADAD building. Carpooling is highly recommended.

- Seat availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not confirmed without payment due by registration deadline to CDFH.
- Training registration is only secure when full payment is submitted to CDFH by the registration deadline.
- The $25.00 fee is non-refundable or transferable. Payment must be received by registration deadline to CDFH. Payment by check will be processed as received.
- Cancellation is due by registration deadline. No shows and cancellations not made within the specified cancellation period will incur the full registration cost.
