*Interest group members are asked to come prepared to share a successful or unsuccessful adult program or activity with the group. Props, posters and demonstration items are welcome. Each presentation should last between 3-5 minutes.

Communication and networking are vital components for staying abreast of what is happening and helping to make positive changes. This group will facilitate an opportunity to talk, share, rejoice and even commiserate about current activities within public libraries in Northeast Florida.

Over the past 15 years Diane Johnson has enjoyed working in public libraries. She began in the Nassau County Public Library System first as Youth Librarian and next as a Branch Manager. Her work continued with the Marion County Public Library System as Youth Services Division Manager. Currently, she serves as a Library Manager with the Alachua County Library District. Her favorite feature of public library work: “From newborn babies to Baby Boomers, we are ready to serve them all”. |
