This workshop will focus on using Play Therapy in sessions with boys!
'Boy Energy in Play Therapy' will begin with a review of the three stages of boyhood, the role of testosterone, and the differences between boys' and girls' brains.
Specific activities and strategies for working with boys will be explored.

About the Presenter:
Jane Robinson, LMHC, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, Infant Mental Health Specialist founded the Center for Child Counseling in 1999 and continues her work as a volunteer consultant, trainer, and clinical supervisor.
She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and is trained in Infant Mental Health through The Center for Prevention and Early Intervention at Florida State University. Jane co-authored a chapter, “Play Therapy Techniques with Very Young At-Risk Children in Child Care Settings” published in the book Play Therapy with Very Young Children, edited by Dr. Charles Shaefer and wrote “A Way of Being with Children” – a manual focusing on helping caregivers effectively work with young children.
