Summary Description:

We are excited to announce the upcoming 2019 Geo Symposium and Field Expo!  The theme for this conference is “A Geo-Resilient Sacramento” with a focus on Engineering Geology, Seismology, and Geotechnical Engineering.  This conference will be held in Sacramento California at the Lions Gate Hotel.  Activities will include:

  • Keynote Speakers
  • Field Expo to include vendor demonstrations and discussions with the experts.
  • Career Fair and Networking Event
  • Poster Sessions and Oral Presentations on Engineering Geology, Seismology, and Geotechnical Engineering

                Full Registration (2 Days): $180 ($230 Late Registration after 2/1/2019)

                One Day Registration: $140 ($190 Late Registration after 2/1/2019)

Vendors:

Vendors interested in an indoor or outdoor booth at the 2019 Geo Symposium and Field Expo should submit a request to AEGSACTO@gmail.com or Alex Wright at AWright@Kleinfelder.com.  Indoor vendor stalls shall be provided with approximately 5 foot by 4-foot stall.  Outdoor stalls shall include up to 2 parking stalls, with more available upon request.

Vendor Demonstrations:

We are excited to announce as part of the 2019 Geo Symposium and Field Expo that interested vendors may participate in demonstration of field methods and capabilities.  Interested vendors shall reserve space in the Field Expo (link) and shall submit a brief description of the proposed field demonstration for approval by the organizing committee.  Submittals shall include discussion of any safety provisions to be used during the demonstration.  Provide submittals by January 21, 2019 and include: safety provisions, required space, presenters, equipment.  Demonstrations shall be limited to no more than 30-minute increments, or as approved by the committee.  If additional space outside of that reserved for vendors is required, contact the committee. Submittals shall be emailed to AEGSACTO@gmail.com with the subject line “2019 Geo Symposium and Field Expo VENDOR DEMO”.  Direct questions to Meredith Beswick at mbeswick@kleinfelder.com.
