Downtown Raleigh Luncheon Event
January 16, 2019
January Topic
“So often, the things that tug at our hearts and distract us from the pursuit of intimacy with God are good things – important responsibilities, significant commitments, and even God-given visions. But these good things can so easily crowd out the best thing – communion with Jesus.”
Steve Fry
The Lord has created a woman’s heart to nurture – even in the workplace.
In Isaiah 49:15 God compares the nurturing love of woman to the faithfulness of our heavenly Father. “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget but I will not forget you.”
While we have desire to nurture, it seems we need permission to be nurtured. Let’s start the year reflecting on where we need to be poured into this year.
