Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) Quarterly Nurse Meeting on Apr. 11

Join us for the next Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) Quarterly Nurse Meeting where David Tobek, Deputy Director of Client Services for the Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) will be a featured presenter describing how the tool can be used, as Participants will understand more about:

* Monitoring opportunities for those who experience GI, choking risk, and dysphagia.

* Monitoring opportunities for those who experience constipation and bowel obstruction         over time. 

* Using HRST for Maryland Nurses' 45 day assessment.  

 * Managing the HRST’s ability to communicate risk changes with you, and automatically       see the customized reports that illustrate specific combinations of risk (i.e. Special                 Conditions Reports and Custom Report Builder.)

The target audience for this session is nurses, providers, coordinators of community services (CCS), etc. Attendance at this webinar meets the obligation of attending one of two DDA nurse meetings as required for continuance as a current and active Maryland DDA case manager nurse trainer for FY19 (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019). To obtain credit you must sign into the webinar and attend for a minimum of one hour. If the registered nurse is attending via phone, in a group, or does not have access to sign into the webinar, they must email his or her RN within one week, stating that they attended and describe what was learned. When registering for the webinar, use the email address you will use on the day of the webinar. You will receive the webinar sign-in link one hour prior to the start of the session.
