February 23rd & 24th

Greetings from Monterey Bay Academy,

We would like to invite you to our Academy Days open house.  This weekend will allow prospective students and parents to view MBA's campus and meet staff and students. MBA is more than an Education...it's an Experience. We know this event will help you experience all that boarding school has to offer. You'll experience MBA's Spiritual Life, Academic Life, Social Life, and more!

First, you will experience MBA's Spiritual Life with our Youth Rally Saturday morning at 10:30am in the MBA Church and group activities in the afternoon.  You'll experience our Social Life at the Talent Showcase and stay overnight in our dormitory Saturday.  Sunday, you'll experience our Academic Life with a special showcase of our classes. 

We are eagerly anticipating your arrival on our beautiful 379 acre coastal campus.  Much time and energy has gone into this event with you in mind.  We hope that after enjoying the MBA Experience you will want to choose to become part of our MBA family.

Things You Need To Know

Financial Incentive

• $50 application fee will be waived for those who complete our online application during or before Academy Days.
• $250-$1,000 scholarships will be awarded during the weekend for qualified applicants 

Everyone

• This event is absolutely free! Just relax and enjoy everything MBA has to offer.
• Meals are provided - your name badge that you receive at registration will serve as your meal ticket.

Students

• *Saturday's Youth Rally in the MBA Church will be Casual Attire (please no shorts, tanktops or flipflops) 
• You will be staying in a dorm room with a MBA student on Saturday night so remember to bring your bedding (sleeping bag & pillow), toiletries, towel, casual clothes, athletic clothes, etc. (except for those coming Sunday only).
• Be prepared to make new friends and have fun!

Parents/Guardians

• We encourage you to attend and participate in all the events. We have a Principal's Reception for Parents Sunday morning at 10am in the Cafeteria. Financial Aid information will be given and other common questions and concerns will be addressed by our Boys/Girls Deans and Administration.

Lodging

• Prospective students will stay in the dorms Saturday night.  If you are traveling from a far distance and need acommadations for Friday night, please contact Pastor Kevin to make arrangements. pk@montereybayacademy.org or 831-728-1841 x1221
• Parents please stay in close proximity to the campus. For a list of local hotels and rates (click here)
• In case of emergency, we will need your cell phone or other contact numbers.

School Group/Church Group Sponsors

• School & Church Groups are encouraged to come together.  MBA will house Adult chaperones in near by hotels.  Please sign up and contact Pastor Kevin for accomadations. Click Here for Registration Forms.
