SCORE Boston Workshop

“Making the Big Pitch”— Creating a Targeted Sales Presentation

 

This workshop is intended to provide the attendees with the tools necessary to developed focused presentations to sell both ideas and products/services to almost any audience. Participants will learn how to storyboard a sales presentation from description of the situation to proposed solutions and, ultimately, to the “Big Ask”. We will address different types of audiences, working within limited timeframes, and how to get the next meeting.

The workshop will be of interest to entrepreneurs and anyone whose business requires them to pitch ideas to clients or investors. In addition to an interactive discussion, attendees will participate in breakout sessions where they will create storyboard outlines that use the techniques that are presented.

This workshop is presented by SCORE Boston and Joe Wolke. Joe is a SCORE counselor and draws on more than 35 years of business management experience to effectively coach and train business leaders in defining, communicating, and implementing core business requirements. Most recently, Joe held the position of Managing Principal and IT Strategy Practice Director for the Forsythe Solutions Group.
