COOKING CLUB SESSION 16: Cooking Around the World ~ Vietnamese Cuisine - Wednesday, January 23, 6:00-8:30pm
In this NEW adult cooking club series, led by Chef Deja Hart, we will cook, bake and experiment with ingredients, spices and preparation methods from countries around the world! *Suitable for cooks of all levels. All you need is a passion for food, sharing ideas and a love of cooking. We will enjoy everything we make together, accompanied by wine tastings.
How it works: Sign up for any Cooking Club class that peaks your interest. At your first class you will receive a Newport Cooks Club Card. Each time you take a club class your card will be punched. After 5 classes you will receive a free Newport Cooks Embroidered Apron; and after every 10th class you will get 1 class FREE!
Session 16: Cooking Around the World ~ Vietnamese Cuisine! A delicious blend of Sweet, Salty, Sour and Spicy flavors. Menu: Goi Cuon (Shrimp, Vermicelli Noodle & Veggie Spring Rolls with Peanut-Hoisin Dipping Sauce) Pho (Vietnam's National Dish - a Flavorful Broth scented with Star Anise served with Shaved Beef and Rice Noodles), Banh Mi (traditional sandwich of French Bread, Roast Pork, Country Style Pate & Pickled Vegetables).
