Dr. Jospeh Troiani, Ph.D., CADC

Dr. Troiani is on the Faculty at Adler University, Chicago, since 1993. He is a retired Navy Veteran after 34 years of service. He is approaching 50 years of work in the Addiction and Mental Health field.

Dr. Troaiani's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Clincal Psychology, M.A. Clinical Psychology, MSSI in Strategic Intelligence, M.A. Health Administraion, B.A. in Psychology and Sociology.
A few of Dr. Troiani's select presentations are:

"Counseling women with a Gambling Disorder"
Michelle Malkin, JD., MS.

 Michelle is in recovery from a Gambling Disorder, and now a Ph.D. student and researcher on the consequences of gambling addiction with a focus on gender and gambling motivated crime. She is a doctoral student in the School of Crminal Justice. Her doctoral cognate is in Public Health.

Michelle's academic background includes a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and M.S. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, a B.A. in Sociology from Southern Illinois University.

A few of Michelle's research interests are:
1. Gambling Motivated Crime
2. Queer criminology
3. Women in corrections
4. The federal criminal justice system
