Santa Maria Business Plan Workshop: January 18, 2019 

Are you ready to have a business that THRIVES? Have you heard that business planning is essential? It is so get some expert help from SCORE at our Business Plan Workshop. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. We are ready to help you understand how a business plan helps you design effective marketing plans, set prices and project revenue and expenses and (most importantly) INCOME.

Workshop Presenter: Lew Leichter

Lew Leichter  is a Certified SCORE mentor with 50 plus years experience as an accountant.  He has worked for a large CPA firm as well as for both large and small private sector firms.  For the past 20 years Lew owned and operated his own accounting and tax preparation business providing "financial intelligence" to small business owners and takes great pride in being able to provide financial literacy support to SCORE clients.

 

Workshop Presenter: Carol Kerwin

Carol Kerwin is a Certified SCORE mentor whose career encompassed over 20 years as a digital engineer and program manager.  Then as an entrepreneur, she wrote a business plan, obtained an SBA loan and owned and managed a printing company.  After selling her firm to a competitor, she wrote patents and became a bookkeeper for a winery and several small businesses. Carol has an MBA from Pepperdine.
