This presentation will walk you through the processes of hiring your first employee and putting your HR processes in place.
Objectives
After your training program, the trainees should be able to:
1. Obtain an employer identification number / Register with your state's labor department. Identify Employee or Independent Contractor
2. Recruit / hire / onboard (onboarding processes)
3. Employee handbook (Policies and procedures)
3. Get workers' compensation insurance.
4. Select Small Business payroll systems and Assemble Business Team.
5. Set up Employment Eligibility Verification for each new employee, i.e., E-Verify.
