Pinnacle Awards Gala Keynote Speaker: Jane O’Hagan

Jane O’Hagan is a corporate director with over 20 years of experience in the transportation and logistics sector.

Jane’s career began with Canadian Pacific Railway's (CP) sales and marketing group before establishing and operating a successful health care consultancy in the U.S. and Canada. Her health care focus was in business development, managed care contracting, corporate communications and public affairs.

She rejoined CP in 2002 as Assistant Vice-President, Strategy and Research. Over the 12 years at CP, Jane was promoted into positions of increased scope and responsibility including Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Yield, Vice President, Strategy and External Affairs.

During Jane’s tenure at CP she led corporate communications and public affairs for twelve years and government affairs for six years. She participated on British Columbia’s Asia Pacific Gateway Executive Council from 2003-2014 to lead coordinated investments in infrastructure.

In 2012, Jane was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network, an organization dedicated to recognizing the achievements of women who hold senior positions in Canada’s corporate community.

Jane left CP in 2014 and now serves as a director of USD Partners based in Houston, TX an acquirer, developer and operator of energy related rail terminals and midstream assets, Descartes Systems Group based in Waterloo, Ontario, a provider of supply chain management solutions, and is also on the board of Pinnacle Renewable Holdings in Richmond, BC, a world class provider of wood pellets.

Jane has an Honours Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario, as well as completed graduate studies in Program and Policy Studies.

In her limited spare time, Jane is an avid fly-fisher, photographer, blogger, and world traveller.
