• Participants will gain knowledge about the range of parental responses and emotions when a child comes out as transgender;

• Participants will be able to discuss the risks associated with lack of familial support for trans youth;

• Participants will develop strategies for diffusing “rejection” and enhancing parental understanding and support

CEU credit are available for Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and LPCs and Continuing Legal Education Credit.  Please note, CEU credit is provided free of charge.

CLE credits are provided at a charge of $10 per credit. Payment for CLE credit can be made at the time of the training.
