Michael David New Release! "Zins of Sin" 5-Course Wine Dinner w/John Mangiaracina & Chef Erin Sealy @ The Riviera Supper Club

Experience first-hand why Michael David's winemaker, Adam Mettler was named Wine Spectator's Winemaker of the Year!

 Please join Chef Erin Sealy at her La Mesa pop-up location, The Riviera Supper Club, for a fabulous night of Michael David's epic wines! Well-known for their expertise in cultivating zinfandel, this Lodi winery produces an array of high-end zinfandels, each gaining its namesake from a cardinal sin. We're very excited to be pouring the brand new Zinfandel from the winery's Freakshow line! This wine is not available outside of the winery until the Spring, but we've got a case to share with you, for one night only! In addition, we'll be pouring 3 single vineyard zins from the winery's Cardinal Sin line, two of which are currently out of stock until the new vintages are released in September! John Mangiaracina will be joining us from the winery to provide insights into the winery and winemaking philosophy of Michael David. If you've never heard about the winery or had the wines, this is a great chance to find out why Michael David has a true cult following. Chef Erin will be pairing each of the 5 wines with its own dinner course. Expect a wonderful evening of wine, food and insights from John. Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food & educational insights!  Please see below for additional dinner details and a registration link.

Savory Cornmeal Waffle with Sicilian Chicken Sausage, Parmesan and Pancetta on Baby Greens. Topped with Oregano Pesto, Shaved Grana Pandano and Black Forest Bacon Crumble


2015 Michael David Gluttony Amador County Zinfandel

Spice Rubbed Slow Roasted + Broiled Pork Belly on Rye Spaetzle with Caramelized Red Onion, Baby Arugula and Blackened Portobello in Brown Butter Sauce. Topped with Gruyere Drizzle and Fresh Herbs
