                                                      1/2 Day Training

The World Affairs Council Upstate in partnership with Upstate SC Alliance invite you to a half-day training session designed to develop strong and effective cross-cultural business skills.

The current global economy calls for employees to possess the necessary skills to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. Knowing how to market in an appropriate context, negotiate and not alienate, forge trust and successfully communicate are keys to success.

This workshop provides participants with the tools to be more fluent in any global business setting with a focus on the differences between Germany and France, and China and Japan.  Brad Gosche, Vice President and Lead Certified Trainer of the Global Fluency Institute in Columbus, Ohio, will lead the workshop.

A few quotes from past Global Fluency training attendees:
"I would recommend this training to anyone involved in international business, travel, students going abroad and anyone interested in stepping outside their comfort zone."
"The speaker/trainer was excellent, the materials were well worth the price, and the simulations/role play exercises were invaluable."
"So glad to have learned the approriate and various ways of handing someone my business card, and receiving theirs, depending on their culture.  Who knew?!"

                                                Expert Panel Discussion

The afternoon Panel Discussion will shed light on the dos and don'ts of global business dealings as our expert panelists share their professional insight.  You'll come away with a better understanding  of why Global Fluency matters in the work place and how you and your employees can become more globally fluent.
