ASQ Membership Meeting
Greetings, Fellow ASQ Members!
Please join us February 6, 2019 for a disucssion on the futire of ASQ Section #0105 and how you can get involved!
This section has been active for many years - since 1971, in fact! Over the years, the economy and technology have dramatically impacted the nature of our professions, organizations and industries. In the early years, ASQ members relied almost exclusively on their local and regional sections for all of their needs. In recent years, ASQ National has developed a strong web presence, providing more and more support and resources to Members online.
Fact is, we still need face-to-face contact with like-minded Folks and opportunities to develop our careers through networking and through exposure to new tools, processes, ideas, standards and applications for all of the above. It is with this understanding that while we are challenged to engage our local members, we recognize the value of continuing to do so.
We currently have needs for section leadership and a wide array of other areas that may align with your expertise or appeal to your interests. Over the course of the next few months our section leadership will be reaching out to our members to talk with you about the benefits and opportunities of active participation and to provide more information if you are interested.
To get things started, you are invited to join us for a dinner meeting (on us ;-) on February 6th at The Muddy Rudder, RT 1, Yarmouth, Maine, from 4:30 - 7:30PM
4:30 - 5:00PM Registration,
5:00 - 6:00PM Networking,
6:00 - 6:45PM Dinner
6:45 - 7:30 PM Presentation/Discussion.
Please register if you plan to attend just so we know how many to plan for. We look forward to talking with you.
