Summer camp isn't just for kids! Come relax for a weekend at Camp Fire Alaska's beautiful Camp K on Kenai Lake and leave status updates, job titles, and "busyness" behind you. At the Wild Women of Wohelo Retreat, it's individuality, self-expression, community, friendship and memories that matter the most. Refresh your spirit, nourish your creative soul, and spend time in a wonderful community of women - all for a great cause!
Come join us on August 3rd and 4th for our Sixth Annual Wild Women of Wohelo Retreat - a fundraiser
for Camp Fire Alaska's Camp K on Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing.
This weekend combines the splendor of nature with all the fun of summer camp for grown-ups. Explore the shores along Kenai Lake, the surrounding trails, and enjoy traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, kayaking and archery. Sign up for some special classes including painting and horseback riding...and just when you think it can't get any better, treat yourself to a relaxing massage!
After a full afternoon of activities on Saturday, you will ease into the evening with a wine reception followed by dinner and a silent auction. As dusk approaches, grab your camping chair and head to the beach to enjoy time socializing around the campfire. Yes, s'mores supplies will be on hand!
Sunday morning begins with yoga on the deck followed by a mid-morning brunch and a camp closing ceremony. After brunch there will be more time for camp activities.
Each participant will receive a commemorative hat along with an amenity bag full of special gifts. Space is limited to 60 women. Participants must be over 21 years of age.
We hope to see you there and thank you in advance for your support! Proceeds from this event, including the silent auction and specialty class fees, are a critical source of support for Camp K's ongoing maintenance.
