Thank you for your interest in supporting the Needham Education Foundation by being a part of the 2019 NEF Spelling Bee on Sunday, March 10th, 3:00 PM.

The Bee is a fun community tradition that draws hundreds of amateur spellers and spectators from Needham schools, businesses, and the community. There are many ways for you to get involved -- sponsor a student or teacher team, buy an ad in our Bee program, form your own team, or just come enjoy watching the friendly competition -- and no matter which option you choose, you will be helping to fund innovative and enriching educational programs for Needham Public School students.

We encourage you to consider forming a three-person team with your friends, co-workers, or neighbors (adults only please)! Many teams rally support from a larger group to help cover the cost and to get even more community members involved! All student teams, including elementary, middle and high school students, are selected and registered by their individual schools.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The annual Needham Education Foundation Spelling Bee is a unique opportunity to show your support for the Needham Public Schools while gaining visibility for your business or organization. In addition, your donation may be tax deductible. Last year, close to 400 Needham families, business owners and community leaders attended the Bee, which was hosted by local television and town personalities and broadcast on Needham cable television. All attendees receive a copy of our Bee Program Book.

For a gift of $2,500, each Head of the Class Sponsor will receive:

• Logo presence on Spelling Bee marketing materials
• Logo presence in an advertisement in the Needham Times
• Public acknowledgment at the Spelling Bee
• A full-page advertisement in a prominent location in the Bee Program Book
• Inclusion on the donor acknowledgment page of the Bee Program Book
• Sponsorship of one Spelling Bee round
• Sponsorship or Registration of one Spelling Bee team, including a listing on the teams page of the Bee Program Book and a listing on a team sign

For a gift of $1,250, each Star Student Sponsor will receive:

• A full-page advertisement in a prominent location in the Bee Program Book
• Inclusion on the donor acknowledgment page of the Bee Program Book
• Sponsorship of one Spelling Bee round
• Sponsorship or Registration of one Spelling Bee team, including a listing on the teams page of the Bee Program Book and a listing on a team sign

For a gift of $625, each Honor Roll Sponsor will receive:

• A full-page advertisement in the Program Book at a $50 discount
• Inclusion on the donor acknowledgment page of the Bee Program Book
• Sponsorship or Registration of one Spelling Bee team, including a listing on the teams page of the Bee Program Book and a listing on a team sign

For a gift of $375, each Team Sponsor will receive:

• Sponsorship or Registration of one Spelling Bee team, including a listing on the teams page of the Bee Program Book and a listing on a team sign

For a gift of $100-$300, each Advertising Sponsor will receive:

• A full-page advertisement (4.5"W x 7.25"H) in the Program Book for $300
• A half-page advertisement (4.5"W x 3.5"H) in the Program Book for $200
• A business card advertisement (2.1875"W x 1.625"H) in the Program Book for $100
