The New Castle Historical Society is the only community organization that has the mission to save New Castle’s history and to share it with present and future generations. As a member of the Society, you’ll join a group of enthusiastic people that enjoy discovering New Castle’s past, preserving our heritage and sharing our history with others through a variety of museums, programs and events. 

In addition to helping support our work of preserving New Castle historic buildings, artifacts, photos, and documents, as a member you’ll enjoy:

• Unlimited free admission for members to the Amstel House & Dutch House

• Free admission for additional guests per membership per year to the Amstel and Dutch Houses at key membership levels:

Patron Members are allowed four additional guests

1651 Benefactor Members are allowed eight additional guests

• 10% discount on purchases in our museum store at The Arsenal
• Invitations to the annual garden party, exhibit openings and other Society programs
  
• Free or reduced admission to certain Society events, including lectures and special exhibits
• Automatic enrollment in the nationwide Time Travelers program with more than 300 institutions in 40 states
• $100 discount on event rentals at The Arsenal (at the Household level and above)
• Automatic Enrollment in the North American Reciprocal Museum Association with over 900 member institutions (at the Patron level and above)
