Join the adventure! Come along and camp out in some of the most amazing locations on Exmoor. Site opens from 4pm Friday. Set your camp, cook your dinner with activities starting from 6pm. Tents down by 11am Sunday. Ideal for first time campers. A partnership between Exmoor National Park and South West Lakes Trust.
What’s the campsite like?
We’re camping in a field next to beautiful Wimbleball Lake. Although this is part of the site, and has access to good facilities - it feels very secluded. There are lots of walks around the lake and the potential to explore and take part in some additional activities.
You can come for either one or two nights, arriving on the Friday night or the Saturday night (it’s the same price). We will be running activities on the Saturday evening leaving you free Friday night and Saturday and Sunday day time to enjoy the outdoor space and to explore the local area. Here’s a rough plan;
