BILINGUALISM EMPOWERS STUDENTS AND DRIVES CAREER READINESS!
In this session we will explore how students can navigate the acquisition of Spanish and English in a bilingual, bi-literate and bi-cultural environment.
KEY STRATEGIES ALLOW BILINGUAL STUDENTS TO:
- Capitalize on their primary language
- Make strong connections with English
- Recognize similarities with both
- Embrace differences to make sense of it all
Bilingual students are eager to learn but we must shape and adapt the experience. If learners have daily access to every objective in both languages they’ll develop metalinguistic abilities for the rest of their lives.
