24th Annual SAME Oxnard-Ventura Post Golf Tournament - 2019

Dear Golfers and Sponsors,

You are cordially invited to participate in the 24nd Annual Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Golf Tournament on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Los Robles Greens, in Thousand Oaks, California. Registration will begin at 7:30 am with a shotgun start at 8:00 am and will be followed by lunch and an awards ceremony from approximately 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

The fee to participate in this year's tournament is $110 per person. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, prizes, and a meal with awards ceremony. The deadline to register is March 8. Registrations will be accepted after March 8th at a fee of $120 per player.

Last year, we had about 50 military and civilian participants from the engineering, architecture, and construction community participate and raised about $3,500.  This year, we would like to exceed both participation and funds raised!

This is also a great opportunity for you to connect with others in our industry and for your company to receive exposure and help support a worthy cause as a sponsor. Sponsors receive various advertising benefits based on the level of sponsorship you choose. The details for the sponsorship opportunities for the event are listed on the registration page.

We are also providing you with the opportunity to sponsor a military member or STEM Student who may not otherwise be able to afford to play.  The details for this possibility are also available on the registration page.

I would like to thank the golfers and sponsors who helped make our tournament a success in the past. Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for students enrolled in various technical curriculum as well as other post events. It is the SAME Post's only fundraiser of the year. Over the past three years, the SAME Oxnard-Ventura Post has provided roughly 20 scholarships worth over $14,900 so students can pursue higher education at local colleges and universities.
