This year will also feature our inaugural Pre-Conference Seminar. This 6 CEU program, presented by Shawn Bain of Global Drug Concepts (GDC), provides attendees with the most current and relevant training for drug abuse in the workplace. Shawn is an expert in the areas of current drug trends, terminology, paraphernalia, concealment and physiological effects of various drugs of abuse. NIEAPA's own Chet Taranowski's keynote address will focus on issues of revenge and resentment in our personal lives and in the workplace that can span decades. Maintaining resentments can impair human well-being and interfere with work productivity. Chet's program will present approaches to help employees consider the need for, and to move forward through, the process of forgiveness.
