Intro Winter Steelhead Fly Fishing Class

Want to learn how to fly fish for steelhead? We are offering an on the water introduction to Steelhead Fly Fishing Class on the Clackamas River at Milo McIver Park. 

In this class you'll learn:

• Life History
• Equipment
• Presentation/Techniques
• Reading Water

The class is limited to 4 anglers, below is a list of what you will need for the workshop:

• Your own rod/reel/line outfit for steelheading (7-9 wt single hand, 6-8wt Spey or switch rod) – If you dont have gear we offer a 20% discount on an outfit of your choice by registering and taking this class.
  
• Wading gear (waders/studded wading shoes/raincoat/wading staff)
• Polarized sunglasses/hat/camera
• Flies/leader/tippet (we will email a list of what to get once you are registered)
• Basic/Intermediate skills are required for this class (casting/wading/knots/etc.)
• We suggest you take the Spey/Two Hand 101 Class before you take this class
  

Cost is $75 per person (non-refundable). Cancellations will be accepted until 7 days prior for the scheduled date, otherwise you will forfeit the reservation for your spot. You may possibly move your payment to the next workshop if space is available.
